That's right. There are no shortcuts to mastering anything. One does not become an expert overnight.Eventhough, Google SketchUp is known to be relatively simpler and more straight forward to use, one still needs to put in the hours to at least grasp its basic modeling principle. Once that is out of the way, the rest is up to your imagination. I have had my share of confusions and frustrations over messed up models in the beginning ( and I still do ), however this initial phase is a necessary evil, I must say. I later rekindled with some of my long lost friends; patience, perseverance and discipline.
I'm Su Sim and an avid lover of creative designs, arts & cratfs, prints & motifs, 3D renderings & illustrations and new innovative ideas. As a design visualiser, my designs are often inspired by the simple forms & patterns of nature.

This blog is devoted to design visualization works that I have completed throughout my years working as a designer in the field of landscaping. Today I'm still labourously honing my skills in the effort to progressively advance my design techniques further. Given the myriads of 3D applications available these days, not to mention their constant upgrading and new feature developments, their potential for integrating into any creative professions seem inevitable. I welcome comments, suggestions, ideas & even software recommendations as I strive to continually educate myself till I breathe my last.
